Jet Airways Ltd’s deputy chief executive and chief financial officer Amit Agarwal has resigned, the carrier informed stock exchanges.

In a statement to the stock exchange, the debt-ridden carrier said that Amit Agarwal resigned with effect from May 13, 2019 due to personal reasons.

Agarwal had joined Jet Airways in 2015.

Jet, which had to suspend operations last month owing to lack of funds, has been struggling to find investors to get the airline back in the skies. Etihad’s conditional bid has left Jet’s lenders with no option but to find another majority investor.
